Another sweater is finished for Hannah Grace....and last week Emily andI joined in the mystery shawl knit on ravelry......we are having so much fun! I am almost done with clue 2! I will share all my knitting this Weds. at the yarn along!

Ran a 5k with Elaina and Christopher this past Sat. It was Christopher's first and he did great! Blew his Mom away of course! It was hot and I was regretting it from the start but in the end so glad I pushed myself to do it! I got first in my age group!!

God is so patient with me and for that I am forever thankful and grateful! I am working on my priorities and getting them in order.....they have been a little out of wack lately. I need to keep God on the throne of this life if any of this is going to work right!

Well the past few weeks I have not made it here to post my day book.......summer is in full swing and I must say we are just too busy enjoying these days! Filled with swimming......sun and the whirring of the air conditioners as we battle the heat! I also started going to a bible study on Monday mornings and we have to be out of the house by 9am.......it's all good!! So i think I might do an abbreviated daybook on Mondays if I get a chance but if not I am not going to beat myself up about it!!

Last week I started bodypump and also took a spinning class......I really enjoyed both and am going back this week again.....Elaina also liked the spinning!! Still running.....we have a 5k on the 21st......a 5k in this July heat...what was I thinking

Stop the clock........this one is getting big way to fast!! She struts around here with her hands on her hips looking oh so cute.....she is babbling all the time now and Daddy is ready to kick her out of bed......she likes to push him to the edge during the night....how can such a little person take up so much room in the bed?

oh so many things......a weekend that was so full!! A trip to the airport to see Emily off on her trip on Friday and all went well!! Sunday Hannah Grace was dedicated at church....Brian and I had lunch then met the girls at music fest in Milford....then came home and went to the pool with all the boys! A very full and blessed day!

had a great long run with Elaina on Saturday......6 miles!!! in just over an hour!!! And it felt fab!

it's all about the pool now......and will be for the rest of the summer! I love hanging by the pool and watching the kids.....Hannah Grace is going to keep me hopping this year......no relaxing knitting for this momma!

I just realized her back mohlers are coming in, I can't believe she is old enough to get those!! She has new antics every day and a crowd of siblings to cheer her on! It is so funny whenever she hears music she is up and dancing ...like really dancing moving her arms and her little tush....too cute!!

a fun day on Friday at Hershey Park......the weather was cloudy but we had no rain until around 4.....it was a great day spent with family!! I even got to ride 2 of the coasters!!!

My prayer life and what I want it to look like......I would like to be more intentional but I never seem to get there ........I want to keep Emily covered on this trip and I need to figure out how to do that!

Brian's cousin Jane and her husband have adopted a new baby......a little girl!! So of course that means I have cast on for a new little sweater in pale pink......I'm making a Baby Kina sweater!

I only made it out once last week to run and I felt sluggish all week.....Monday I started interval training on the treadmill and it felt so good!!! I'm going to keep doing that when I need to run inside!

This little one is changing and growing every day! She is climbing on everything!! She signs...please and eat and more and thank you....she even tries to say thank you....so sweet!! She climbs on my lap pulls my shirt and signs please when she wants to nurse! She loved the rides at Hershey and had so much fun!
She is really going to miss her big sister.....she loves to head on down the hallway and into Em's room to check out what she is doing......she usually play with her nail polish bottles or gets into Em's clothes! She enjoyed taking rides in her luggage the other day......too funny!!

 trying to form new habits is hard if you don't make time for them........life seems like it is going fast forward and I can't keep up! I need to do better this week with my quiet time and my prayers.....
We started listening to a series of sermons on Revelation this week by Voddie Baucham.. 
We will be doing this for our devotions for a while I think.....very good stuff!!

outside is hazy and humid at 6am already. The air conditioners are humming and I am thanking God for them! The sun is just rising and I can see it's going to be another hot one today!

a wonderful weekend visit with my Mom. And also for all the support coming in for Emily, I am truly humbled and have realized my faith is so small in such things....God is providing abundantly for her and I am in awe.......but He is in control and I should not be so surprised!

Practical Happiness by Bob Shultz.......it's written to boys but we are reading it as a family at devotions and it is really good!

everything that needs to be done to get Emily off on her trip next week.......once I get her off then I can think about all the other things that need doing right now......

I put aside the shawl that i ripped the lace out 3 times on....it is just not a good time for me to be doing a lace pattern. I decided to grab this lovely yarn off my shelf and whip up this sweater for Hannah Grace. It's the Nellie sweater......very vintage and i love it! I'm up to the sleeves so it's almost done. When Emily leaves I will pick up my shawl again......

this week is going to be a basics week......Monday was a Holiday and Friday we are going to Hershey Park.....I also have to get Jacob's testing done this week and start thinking about porfolios.......ugh!

Christopher has been running with me this past week. And even did a 4 mile long run on Sunday! He is a great running partner....but will probably end up running with Elaina because he is already faster then me! I'm down to 158 and I have not seen that # in years!!! It feels good to have all my clothes big on me and not tight!

This one is getting to be a little wild!! Screeching is now fun and so is doing all the things that Momma says no too!! Like standing on chairs and grabbing things she shouldn't.........We all like to laugh at her antics but then she just does it more!!

prayer........I need to constantly be communicating with my Father! I am trying to get a new rhythm to my time alone with Him. Lately it's been hit or miss and that is no good!!
