For sketch #50 I altered a mini canvas...I wanted to post my inspirational verse in my scraproom where I can be reminded daily why I am scrapping and creating! I love the little easel and this was so fun I might be doing another soon!! Isn't the little crocheted flower beautiful...my daughter is making these by the dozen and hopefully will have them up for sale soon!!!

It is rainy and pouring here!!! We just had a very large thunder storm pass thru as well....a little earlier I snapped these shots!! Yes that was before the thunder storm.....


So don't tell my Mom that my kids were out in their pj's running thru mud puddles.....oh wait! Mom your reading my blog? Oh well...my kids think I'm the best Mom!!!

Good morning everyone!! And welcome to the Triple the Sketch first anniversary blog hop!! WooHoo! Get ready to have some fun....get inspired and maybe win some cool RAKS!!!

First off you should be joining me from the Triple the Sketch blog. This is the starting point for our adventure. So please jump over there and then continue on so you don't miss anything!!

I am so excited to be the first stop on your journey so let's move on to what I am sharing. I did two layouts....a digi and a paper.

This first layout takes us back to the very first sketch posted on Triple the Sketch! Here is a link to that post sketch 1. I used part of the February kit from The Daily Digi made by the-lily pad designs....it's called hop skip and jump and is perfect for this fun photo of my oldest girls.



This next layout is from sketch 25 I used a beautiful kit from scarlet lime to make this paper 12x12 page of my girls in their dance costumes....the tag on top is hidden journaling.



Now for the fun part....my kids came up with a great idea for a fun little game we can play so one of you can win a wonderful basket of scrappin goodies that I am giving away as my RAK.....now look closely at the jar below and try to guess how many buttons are in the little jar....don't count the ones on the table. The first person that guesses the right amount..or the closest amount will win the RAK! Buttons of all sizes are in that little jar! I was going to post a pic of my basket of scappin goodies but the kids thought it would be fun to keep it a mystery.... so to play along leave me a comment with your guess before Sunday night at 8:00pm eastern time. At that time we will figure out the winner and post it then!!

Christopher is memorizing Psalm 145...we all are and he is getting faster then the rest of us!

Just ignore his brother in the back ground....please and my whispers of impending doom to him for being so distracting....it's just another day at my house...full of kids and mischief and hopefully learning Gods word and hiding it in our hearts!! Enjoy!!

Yes...get a good laugh that is Jacob in the back ground trying to get in on the shot.....antagonizing his brother....and oh yes that is my hand over his mouth....and my whispers of life impending doom for him if he does not stop.....so we tried 3 more takes but this was the perfect one and ya know what....it's real....my kids love messing around with each other and so I am posting real life from the Schenck household this morning...

Wow it has been quite a while since I blogged last.....I've been mostly over on my scrappy blog these days .....sorry about that! But Spring is here and I need to do some updating on the blog....I want to change up the design and add some homeschool resource links to the side bar.... I have been wanting to do this and just have not made the time.
Time seems to be at a premium lately, our schedule is all over the place and I am ready for a bit more down time at home. My Dad began Chemo yesterday after two weeks of radiation. His shoulder seems to be a bit better but his hip is getting worse and some times he can not walk....
It is times like this that I am glad I know God and can lean on Him and His understanding not my own. We are so weak in this world and it is only through His strength that we can survive!

I have not updated my gratitude journal lately so I think today is a good day to count my blessings!
