I came across this blood and water mission at Kendra's site over at preschoolers and peace.... it costs a $1 to give an African clean water for the year....now we drink mostly water already...but there is the occasional bottled tea or flavored water picked up when we are out...
So I imagine we could save a bit of money and pass it on to give others clean drinking water. We were just talking about trying to give the kids a more global view on the pain and suffering that is so prevalent in our world....
Another resource I came across that we are using is the Global Prayer Digest....this is an amazing digest that not only gives you a people to pray for each day but tells you something about them and how to pray. We are using this during morning devotions and the children are enjoying it.
