Yarn Along

7:49 AM

Joining Ginny today for the weekly yarn along........

I finally have my computer back!! I am slowly getting it up to speed and loading all my extra programs and my pictures back on to it........I did miss it!

So I finally blocked and finished the lttle kina cardigan.......so cute and I hope Brian's cousin likes it! I also sent a sweet crocheted cloche with it.....my fav hat for babies!

I began knitting the fingerless mitts for Emily.....they are coming along nicely but I'm not sure the second will be done before she returns home......that's ok the knitting has kept my mind busy praying for her and her team and the time has flown by...she will be back in the states on Sunday!! Here is a link to the latest blog post from her team....Thailand's treasure. She is my oldest and the first to be gone and out in the world and I really thought it was going to be hard, but God has really given me a peace these past 4 weeks that I know could only come from Him! She is going about her Fathers work and that is what I truly want for all my children!

I am just starting to read CS Lewis' science fiction trilogy .....the first book is The Silent Planet. A friend is reading them and really enjoying it. I thought it might be a fun summer read....I will let you know how I like it!

It looks like today I might get some more knitting done....Caleb has come down with a fever and a sore throat, so cuddles on the couch and lots of napping for him and maybe some chunks of knitting time for me!
